This beginner-friendly class lays the foundation for both linear salsa styles (NYC, LA, Cuban) and Intermediate Rueda. You’ll learn rhythm, connection, and key fundamentals like basic salsa timing, crossbody lead (Dile Que No), and how to switch smoothly in a circle. Perfect for newcomers — and a great refresher for anyone who wants to sharpen their fundamentals before jumping into more complex patterns.
Build on your skills with Casino-style Cuban Salsa in a group circle format (Rueda de Casino, a.k.a. Cuban Square Dance). This class draws from our Moves List and introduces pattern-based calls that emphasize solid frame, timing, and partner awareness. Growing the circle together. (If you’re still building confidence in your basics, we may recommend revisiting the Intro class first.)
