Thursdays – Salsa Foundations + Social

Our weekly Salsa Foundations class is the primary entry point into the Salsa 719 community. This hybrid format prepares you for real social dancing — whether that’s Linear Salsa (On1, slotted partnerwork) or Cuban Salsa / Casino & Rueda de Casino.

You’ll learn essential fundamentals including: salsa timing & rhythm, weight transfer and basic time steps, connection and lead-follow communication, and how to move confidently between partner and group formats.

This class is ideal for total beginners, returning dancers, and anyone who wants to strengthen their foundation for social dancing.

After Class – Weekly Salsa Social

Stay after class for one of Colorado Springs’ most welcoming and music-driven salsa socials. Practice what you’ve learned, meet new dancers, and grow into the community at your own pace.

No partner required. All levels welcome.

Tuesdays – Intermediate Training & Choreography

Current Project: Unforgettable Dance (Baile Inolvidable), is a salsa choreography series blending Linear Salsa (On1), Cuban Salsa / Rueda, and solo shines into a cohesive routine.

Run dates:
Orientation: Tuesday, Jan 20 (6:30–7:30 PM)
Rehearsals: Tuesdays, Jan 27 – Mar 31 (6:30–7:30 PM)

Who this is for:
Dancers with prior salsa experience who are comfortable with basic timing, partner connection, and fundamental turns.
